Going beyond the conventional boundaries, Vidya has so boldly got into the spirit of Silk and our male dominated film industry has got a big shocker to believe that even heroine oriented adult contented films haven’t lost their market. Later on, now and then we hear of Southern version of ‘TDP’ to start soon with names of Nayanathara, Anushka, Charmi, Richa Gangopadhyay, Nikitha, Namitha and so many speculated.

Finally, we hear of Manchu Manoj’s sexy heroine Sana Khan of ‘Mr. Nookayya’ fame is zeroed upon for the first Malayalam version of a biopic on Silk titled as ‘Profile.’ None knows whether this will have Telugu and Tamil versions or not. Antony Eastman, the man who introduced Silk to Malayalam films is scripting for ‘Profile.’ He believes that, heroines should have courage to take up the Silk because one has to be sleazy and also open minded in dealing such a bold character. This will be a true story of Silk Smitha unlike other films.
