Namitha fires @ 'Rangam' Aunty

South damsel Sona tried to pull the name of Namitha into a controversy by using her character in ‘Rangam’ inspired from Nammi (Link). This kind of cheap publicity isn’t like by Namitha and she came out all guns blazing at Sona. 

‘Sona’s cheap publicity gimmick is nothing but stupid. There will be many films released having sequences depicting my image albeit in an indirect manner. This kind of personal breach happens to frontline and popular actresses like me. Off late, Sona has been imitating and mocking me in her films. I didn’t mind it few times but when she went on saying about SMSing me and not getting any reply, I got fired up. Fact is that I didn’t receive any SMS from her. 

Sona is nobody before me. I don’t need to respond her because it would pit her on equal level with me. Basically she doesn’t know what decency in films mean. She should feel ashamed of her act of mimicking me in ‘Rangam.’ I lost my patience at Sona’s untimely gimmick. It would be better if she stops seeking cheap publicity by invoking my name,’ said Namitha.
