Can our Heroes ever get a Super Hit?

Tollywood is desperate for a Hit. Every department of film making including the Top heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan and others are waiting for Super Duper Hit. Going with a below 3% of success rate, industry is on the worst phase and the upcoming releases of Star Heroes are the only hope. Here are the heroes and their waiting lists:

1. Chiranjeevi announced about 150th film in 2011 but present political situations may not help Mega Fans as 2012 can be the only ray of hope for a movie from Mega Star. His last hit was long ago in 2004 with Shankar Dada MBBS.

2. Balakrishna although was BO Bonanza last year with ‘Simha,’ he fell flat with ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ and movies like ‘Sree Rama Rajyam’ and the untitled one with Director Paruchuri Murali can save him.

3. Nagarjuna’s real last hit was ‘Sree RamaDasu’ in 2006. Later it was ‘King’ and ‘Ragada’ which were just averages. Upcoming ‘Gaganam’ along with ‘Rajanna’ and ‘Damarukham’ are most crucial projects for Nag.

4. Victory Venkatesh enjoyed the last big hit with ‘Tulasi’ in 2007 and then on ‘Chintakayala Ravi, Eenadu, Namo Venkatesha, Nagavalli’ disappointed the audience. Venky has just ‘Savitri’ in hand and few more movies are to be finalized.

5. Pawan Kalyan is long waited hero for a success after ‘Khushi’ which happened a decade ago. ‘Johnny, Gudumba Shankar, Balu, Bangaram, Annavaram, Puli’ were failures while ‘Jalsa’ was a relief but not as big hit as ‘Khushi’ or ‘Toliprema.’ Hopes pinned on ‘Lovely’ and ‘Jesus Christ.’

6. Mahesh Babu also falls into the same category who secured a genuine hit in 2006 with ‘Pokiri.’ Movies like ‘Sainikudu, Athidhi, Khaleja’ damaged the reputation of Prince who is working hard on ‘Dookudu.’

7. Prabhas although had a safe venture with ‘Darling’ but a hit on the scale of 2005 ‘Chatrapathi’ is left as a distant dream as ‘Pournami, Yogi, Munna, Bujjigadu, Billa, Ek Niranjan’ failed to woo the audience and ‘Mr. Perfect’ can do the trick.

8. Junior NTR last stupendous hit was ‘Simhadri’ in 2003 although we have ‘Rakhi, Yama Donga, Kantri, Adurs, Brindavanam’ tried to reach the shores of Super Hit but failed. Yes, it is ‘Shakthi’ which can offer the industry’s biggest hit.

9. Ramcharan is also the same and the winning streak after ‘Magadheera’ is lost with ‘Orange.’ Fans are expecting too much from Cherry and ‘Merupu’ can be the one.

10. Allu Arjun got the last hit in 2007 with ‘Desamuduru’ while ‘Parugu, Arya 2, Varudu, Vedam’ suffered at BO and ‘Badrinath’ in this year is a key film.

11. Mass Maharaj Raviteja too had a blast hit with 'Kick' in and later on 'Anjaneyulu, Shambho Shiva Sha,bho, Don Seenu, Mirapakay' failed to reach such levels of a hit movie. Waiting for 'Veera.'

12. Siddharth, Manchu Manoj, Manchu Vishnu, Srikanth, Tarun and others fall into the same category and need of the hour is just one Super Hit for every Hero.

Let us see, how many of them will succeed in coming months and how can 2011 be lucky for many. Strangely, it is only and only our Tollywood where Heroes still dance on the heads of Fans and audience even without a single hit from years and years.
