Nivetha Pethuraj Opens Up About Her Personal Journey
Nivetha Pethuraj has opened up about her personal life, career choices and experiences in a recent interview. The actress, who made her Telugu debut with Mental Madhilo, revealed that she once considered cosmetic surgery but changed her mind after her doctor explained potential risks and after seeing actresses such as Sai Pallavi and Nithya Menen embrace natural looks.
Nivetha also spoke candidly about a past relationship, saying she had once imagined that her boyfriend might leave her for someone else, and that situation eventually happened. She added that she now tries not to dwell on negative thoughts, although she acknowledged that controlling the mind and its constant stream of thoughts can be difficult.
The actress revealed that she had seriously considered leaving films in 2023 and even contemplated moving to the Himalayas for meditation. She said she went through a difficult phase before returning to acting. Nivetha is now continuing her film career while exploring interests beyond cinema, including travel and motorsports.
Nivetha’s passion for racing is well documented. She completed Level 1 of the Formula Race Car Training Program at Momentum School of Advance Racing in Coimbatore and has spoken about pursuing higher levels. She has also expressed interest in playing astronaut Kalpana Chawla if her life is adapted for cinema, reflecting her longstanding fascination with space.
