Finally huge relief for Dil Raju in copyright case. It is known that Dil Raju landed in trouble when a writer Shyamala Rani accused him of copying her story and using it for Prabhas' Mr.Perfect in the year 2017. She accused him of copying from her novel Naa Manasu Korindi Ninne.
Following the complaint, the trail court issued various notices and to Dil Raju under cheating and copyright laws. Dil Raju had been fighting this battle since longtime and finally it seems he got a huge relief from the Supreme Court. Though the High Court dropped the cheating cases, it allowed the continuance of the copyright cases.
Now, Supreme Court dismissed even the copyright cases. A source shared "The apex court paused the trial court proceedings while it examined whether the original complaint was filed within the allowed time limit. Recently, the complainant’s lawyer requested the Supreme Court to vacate the stay order, citing the writer’s age. However, a bench headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant rejected the request. The court stated that it had already considered all details and arguments before pausing the trial court case."
