Maa Inti Bangaaram First Day Worldwide Gross

Maa Inti Bangaram has given Samantha a strong comeback at the box office after a long break from films. In the post-lockdown era double-digit openings are rare for films led by medium-range stars because most viewers now wait for reviews and word of mouth. But this film opened well with family audiences and women turning up in large numbers from the first show itself.
The story with emotional family moments connected easily and positive talk spread fast. Samantha, actor Raj and director Nandini Reddy promoted the movie well on social media, TV and city events which built good buzz before release. The film collected around Rs 13.15 crore gross worldwide on day one which is a solid start for a female led movie.
In India the net collection was about Rs 5.35 crore from over 2600 shows and the total India gross was near Rs 7 crore. Overseas markets like North America played a big role and added a good share to the total number. The makers released the film directly in many key areas without big middlemen. Since the release rights were sold at fair prices, the film is already in a safe zone and can become profitable if it holds well over the weekend.
Advance bookings for day two look steady and weekend shows are expected to grow. If the trend stays the same the film can cross the 50 crore mark soon and Monday collections will decide how strong it stays on weekdays. Samantha said she is happy that audiences are now supporting films based on content and not just on male lead names.
