Shah Rukh Khan Helps Marathi Film Deool Band 2 Hit 80 Crores

Shah Rukh Khan has once again shown his big heart off screen. The Marathi film Deool Band 2 is doing great at the box office and director Praveen Tarde says it was possible because of SRK’s help. Before release, the film team had to pay around 42 lakh rupees for the Digital Cinema Package needed to show the movie in theatres.
As it was a small budget regional film, they could not manage the cost. The team then reached out to Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment for support. As soon as the matter reached him, he asked about the film and said it was a good Marathi project. He told his team to waive the full DCP charge and clear it quickly so the film could release on time.
With SRK’s help, Deool Band 2 released smoothly and connected with the audience. The film is a sequel to the 2015 hit Deool and talks about farmer issues, faith and doubt in society. It is directed by Praveen Tarde and stars Snehal Tarde in the lead. Senior actor Mohan Joshi plays the role of Swami Samarth.
After release, the movie earned 81.78 crore rupees and is now heading towards the 100 crore mark. The makers were emotional about SRK’s support during a tough time. They said they will soon arrange a special screening of the film for King Khan to thank him. His quick action helped a small Marathi film reach a large audience and make a big impact at the box office.
