Mandlekar. The writers did extensive research on the happenings during the 90s across the globe and the situation prevalent in India. He started the narration in an interesting manner and from then on he maintained a steady pace through out the film till the end.The developments in the then Government, RBI, political circles, opposition parties and how common people reacted are depicted in a perfect and effective manner. The measures taken by the RBI and the opposition faced by the governor during the meetings and the pressures from the government and the coalition politics is highlighted in an interesting way with the tight screenplay. The first half ends with the challenges of the governor becoming bigger and the second half shows how the RBI staff and top officials as a team join hands to convince the government against all odds to take strong decisions and maintain secrecy so that the people's trust will not be broken down or shattered. Dialogues are natural and realistic and witty at times evoking few smiles. The film ends in an interesting manner with the journalist taking a sensational decision despite coming to know about the shocking developments involving the Government and RBI.Meghna Manchanda Sen, Sanjay Sharma's editing is perfect to the core. They ensured that the film had a crisp runtime and no repetitive and unnecessary scenes are present slowing the pace of the film that usually impact the film's final output. They should be commended for their efforts and perfection.Mannan Shaah's background score added value to the narration. His background music elevated the scenes and the emotions attached to them in a perfect manner taking viewers into the story. Vishal Sinha with his cinematography depicted the 90s happenings in a natural and realistic way. However the serious tone and lack of commercial elements may put off the viewers. But it is a very good film for Gen Z and others to know about the happenings in the past and how the people mattered strove hard to save the country going against all odds. The film is expected to get good response when it streams on OTT. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 for Governor.

The story though routine gets creative with the songs.While this increases the curiosity levels, the overdoing of this ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Viewers are left to wonder when this ends.The music for the film is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad. It is difficult to score music with day to day words but he did full justice and lived upto the task. The entire first half is loaded with mass elements, but the runup to the interval and interval bang though predictable, excites all setting the tone for the second half.All the cricket matches though shot impressively lacked the wow factor except for the presence of Ram Charan. There are many actors in the film and they just appear and go in an insignificant manner. The moment Janhvi is introduced, it brings down the intensity and pace of the narration impacting the overall output.The second half also starts in the similar manner but the emotions that appear drives the story forward. In the process of elevating the emotions, the pace dipped drastically. But this at times impacted the story and narration. However, in the second half, he showed his mettle during that last 25% with thought provoking dialogues, natural and realistic emotions and strong message to the society. Screenplay turned out tobe decent and Buchi Babu Sana tried to elevate it with the shock factor. A little finetuning of the script and doing away with unnecessary and illogical scenes, Peddi would have got more firepower. Sobhan Chittiprolu apart from readying the story even came up with impressive screenplay along with Chanakya Varma and Gopalakrishna Vidmahela. Sobhan did full justice to all the departments he handled.Pradeep Maddali highlighted how people of Godavari districts take rooster fights as a prestige issue and how few anti social elements take advantage of the gambling. He ensured that the narration doesnot turn into completely serious tone but told in a entertaining manner.The webseries has six episodes and the first episode starts with the introduction of lead actors and the missing of the rooster. The nnarration takes entertaining route with the investigation. All the investigation, scene recreation and others have been written in a funny manner.However, some scenes got repeated and this slowed the pace of the narration, diluting the tempo. Some scenes looked forced and some are not brought to the logical conclusion. One gets a feeling that there could have been few thrillinng scenes while revealing the antagonist. While the first two episodes are hilarious and is narrated at a fast pace, the third episode slows the proceedings.Fourth episode turns the story interesting before the &nbsp;runup to the climax.The music of Saket Komanduri is pleasant ad appealing. He ensured that the BGM is in sync with the story and not loud. Kishore Boidapu with his cinematography showed the beauty of Godavari districts in a visually natural and realistic maner. He showed good emotions and variations in expressions and made his presence felt. Master Mahendra showed good expressions highlighting the innocence. Shraddha Das came up with a subtle performance. He came up with an interesting concept but while trying to narrate it on the screen, he ended up confusing the viewers. More than the story he concentrated on VFX and at times used AI to generate the required VFX. The backstory and Trikala generates interest at the start but right after that he ends up confusing with non linear screenplay.The first half has been dragged to the core and the slow pace impacted the output. Though some clarity comes in the second half, it turns out to be routine with psychpath kind of elevations and monotonous scenes. The film lacked the natural feel and everything looks artificial in the end.Pavan Chenna's cinematography is ok. Harshavardhan Rameshwar's music also fall in the same zone. Song on mother is ok. Director Mani Tellaguti himself handled the editing and it turned out to be a huge let down. He should have done away with many unnecessary scenes. The story is simple but he tried to turn it into a crime thriller adding delusional elements and also schizophrenia disease symptoms. The entire story revolves around a single point and he tries to excite viewers with confusing screenplay.To some extent he emerged successful but with the passage of time, one gets a feeling that the story is not moving any further. He tried to make up for it with hilarious scene in the police station during the preclimax. The entire first half is dragged with the love scenes featuring the lead pairs. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. The songs looked like serial songs and offered nothing new. and the background music turned out to be a huge disappointment. One cannot believe that Ilayaraja scored the music for the film. The cinematography of Arvind Kannabiran is good. He showed the scenes in a realistic manner adding aesthetic elements. The editing of Junaid Siddiqui could have been better as there are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. He came up with a simple story of how a family tries to protect themselves when on attack from dreaded gangsters. Many such films came earlier but Subhash K Raj narrated it in a different manner trying to send message to the society.He showed father training his daughter to be brave and not to tolerate any injustice not only to the family but others in the society despite mother expressing her own fears. He also highlighted the importance of martial arts and how it will be helpful as a self defence system.He started the narration in &nbsp;a gripping manner and then the narration and screenplay turns racy throughout the first half. The first half ends in a decent manner setting the stage for the second half. The second half also treads in a similar manner but pace dips at times and due to few repetitive and dragged scenes. The climax too turns out to be weak.Arun Radhakrishnan's cinematography is good. He used the camera angles and color combinations to perfection do give a natural and realistic feel. Ravi Basrur's background music is impactful and added value to the narration. The editing of Pradeep E Ragav is decent enough except for few drags here and there and repetitive scenes. The entire first half is loaded with the fights between husband and wife and the happenings between the friends and court scenes. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. Climax twist is decent &nbsp;to some extent.Satish Muthyala's cinematography is good. Shrawan Bharadwaj's music is just ok and so is the background music. Editing of Koti left a lot to be desired. But the routine shades and slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The entire second half is loaded with emotional content. The twist in the pre climax is good and the climax turns out to be emotional.There are many unnecessary scenes that defies logic and also the conflict is not shown in &nbsp;a convincing manner. The relationship and connection to four kids and the granny is not shown properly.Aravind Thirukovela with his cinematography turned the scenes colorful and visually appealing on the screen. Suriya fans have a new update as his 47th film is now planned for Pongal 2027 release. Earlier the team thought about Diwali but now makers want to use the Pongal festive window which brings more audience to theaters. The film is an action comedy and Suriya will play a quirky police officer with a different style. Director Jithu Madhavan is making his Tamil debut with this project. He is known for Malayalam hits Romancham and Aavesham. The combo of Suriya and Jithu Madhavan has created strong interest among Tamil and Malayalam fans. Nazriya Fahadh is the female lead and young actor Naslen Ka Gafoor is playing a key role.Before Suriya 47 arrives, Suriya 46 titled Vishwanath and Sons is ready for release on August 14 this year. That film will come to theaters first and then the team will focus on Suriya 47 promotions. Shooting for Suriya 47 started in December 2025 and is expected to wrap up this month. The makers are planning a big scale release because Pongal is a holiday season and families go to cinemas together.The story is said to be a mix of comedy, action and mass moments.
