Are producers safe with Chiranjeevi, Pawan, Ram Charan films. Recently Pawan Kalyan did OG with Sujeeth, Chiranjeevi did Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu with Anil Ravipudi and Ram Charan did Peddi with Buchi Babu Sana. Now the question is whether these films got profits to the producers and distributors?

Pawan Kalyan's OG grossed nearly Rs 300crs but inside talk is in few areas distributors landed in losses. However, producer DVV. Danayya got huge table profit due to OTT, Satellite rights and theatrical rights and so from the producer's angle OG turned out to be a safe project.

Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu also continued the same . It grossed Rs 300crs gross and as the film was made with a budget of Rs 200crs, the film turned out to be a profitable venture for both the producers and the distributors after the theatrical run.

Ram Charan's sports based entertainer Peddi grossed Rs 315 crs in just five days. But the talk is as the budget is huge, it is facing a huge test. If the distributors have to enter the profit zone the film should have an even more strong theatrical run. It may happen at the current going.

The three common point in the above films are the non-theatrical business effect. As OT, Satellite and Digital Rights increased, producers are recovering most of the budget with it. So even if the film does not perform well at the box-office, the losses will be minimal for the producers. If producers have correct business planning they can avoid losses and this is what the above films proved.
