Drishyam 3 Breaks Day 2 Record With Rs 33.4 Cr In Kerala

Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 has set a new record at the Kerala box office. The film collected Rs 33.4 crore on its second day. This is now the biggest Day 2 total in Malayalam cinema history. It has crossed the old record of Empuraan which made Rs 33.3 crore on day two. Fans lined up at theatres across Kerala and outside states too. The craze for the Drishyam series is still very strong.
The movie got mixed reviews from critics but common people loved it. The story and Mohanlal’s acting pulled huge crowds on Saturday. Day one was also big with Rs 43.3 crore worldwide. After two days the total worldwide gross stands at Rs 76.7 crore. Trade experts say Sunday will be even bigger because of the holiday rush. The Drishyam series has always done well at the box office. Drishyam 2 was released on OTT earlier and did not get a big theatre run last month.
