The upcoming Telugu film Rakasa has made headlines with Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Movie Makers acquiring its Telugu States theatrical rights in a big ticket deal. This significant milestone underscores the industry's confidence in the film's theatrical prospects. 

The film's distribution network is expanding, with Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures handling international distribution across over 350 screens in key territories like the US, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Prathyangira Cinemas will manage North America and UK markets. Overseas premieres are scheduled for April 2, 2026, ahead of the worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026.

Rakasa boasts notable partnerships, including Netflix acquiring digital streaming rights and Saregama Music bagging audio rights. The promotional campaign is generating strong digital traction, with the title glimpse crossing 1.9 million views and the teaser surpassing 2.8 million views.

The film features Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika, with a supporting cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, and Ashish Vidyarthi. Manasa Sharma directs, while Anudeep Dev composes the soundtrack. Produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and Zee Studios, Rākāsā blends romance, humor, and fantasy elements.
