Rahman recalled studying 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharata' in school, which taught him valuable moral lessons.

He emphasized that stories like Ramayana transcend religious boundaries and connect people through shared values. Rahman pointed out that he's working alongside Hans Zimmer, a Jew, on the Hindu film, showcasing the power of art and cultural unity. He believes art should not be linked to religion and that knowledge should be gained from anywhere, regardless of the source.

Rahman credited spiritual teachings for shaping his thoughts, citing Prophet Muhammad's emphasis on gaining knowledge from anyone. With a massive budget of over Rs. 4 thousand crores, the film is set for a Diwali 2026 and 2027 release.
