Roshan Champion To Stream On Netflix From This Date

Roshan's much anticipated film Champion hit theatres on Christmas, but unfortunately, it failed to make an impact at the box office. The film, which marked Roshan's comeback after his blockbuster debut Pelli SandaD, was expected to be a big hit, especially given the production pedigree of Vyjayanthi Movies, known for delivering classic blockbusters.

Despite the high expectations, Champion failed to impress audiences, leading to a disappointing box office run. However, the film's digital rights have been snapped up by Netflix for a whopping 16 Cr, covering all South languages. Fans can catch the film on the streaming platform from January 23rd in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Champion is a period sports action drama directed by Pradeep Advaitham, starring Roshan Meka and Anaswara Rajan. The film's plot revolves around an aspiring football player's journey, intertwined with the historic Bhairanpally revolt in pre-independence Hyderabad. The cast also includes Nandamuri Kalyana Chakravarthy, Kay Kay Menon, Santhosh Prathap, and Prakash Raj, among others.
