Rishab Shetty speaking to scribes, shared his thoughts on 8 hours work for women.
He said "If the actress has any kind of emergency, we make accommodations. If she wants to do that particular character, or if it needs to be done at a specific time or not, we adjust everything accordingly"
He continued“There’s no such comparison or discrimination. Everyone’s work process is the same. If there’s any health concern, it’s addressed in a timely manner — there’s nothing unequal about it,”
He added "And there’s no such comparison. Irrespective of gender... there’s no discrimination between a man and a woman. Everyone’s work process is the same. If there’s any health concern, it’s addressed in a timely manner - there’s nothing unequal about it"
He shared "When there’s a situation that requires us to work full-time, we wake up at 3:30-4 am, bring the actors to the set, get their makeup done, and start shooting by 6 am. That also happens because we need to capture shots in the golden light, early in the morning. That part is never compromised"
He concluded "If someone faces any problem in between, we give them a break. There’s always a caravan and an ambulance on set - that's ensured without fail"
