Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 is generating immense buzz, with over 10,000 tickets sold within just 34 minutes of booking opening on September 26. The film will be released in six languages: Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali, with early morning shows starting from 6:30 AM on October 2. Ticket prices range from ₹350 to ₹550, with premium seats potentially costing up to ₹1,200 during the opening weekend. There is also chance that makers could go for previous day Premiers on October 1.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Kantara: A Legend - Chapter 1 without any cuts, awarding it a U/A 16+ certificate. The film's runtime is approximately 2 hours and 49 minutes. Kantara Chapter 1 boasts a hefty budget of ₹120 crores and is expected to be a visual spectacle, showcasing mythology and regional traditions.
