Delhi High Court passes an interim order over Nagarjuna plea

Nagarjuna approached Delhi High Court pleading protection against his personality and publicity rights.

The case came up for hearing infront of Justice Tejas Karia who went on to say that he would soon pass the order. He said "When you can identify the URLs, the best is to direct them to take down ".. Will pass orders,"

Delhi High Court recently came up with similar orders when celebrities like Aishwarya Bachchan and her husband Abhishek Bachchan and filmmaker Karan Johar sought protection.

Pravin Anand represented Nagarjuna infront of the case and he said " His was aggrieved by three infringements - pornographic websites, sale of merchandise by unauthorisedly using the actor's personality traits and various YouTube videos." The court posted the case for final hearing on 23 Jan 2026.
