The unit of Yash's highly anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown ups, is set to move to Bengaluru for its final schedule after wrapping up a massive 45 day shoot in Mumbai. The Mumbai leg, supervised by Hollywood action director JJ Perry, featured some of the most ambitious and logistically demanding action sequences ever attempted in Indian cinema.

With the majority of principal photography completed, the team is now gearing up for the final stretch, which promises to deliver several key sequences that will elevate the film's narrative. The film's director, Geetu Mohandas, is known for her emotionally resonant storytelling, and Toxic is expected to be no exception.Toxic is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, allowing it to tap into both Indian and global sensibilities

Toxic is slated for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid celebrations. This strategic release date is expected to help the film dominate the box office during the extended weekend. With a talented cast, including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Tara Sutaria, Toxic promises to be a cinematic spectacle that will keep audiences engaged.

The film's production involves a massive team of over 1,000 crew members and 450 actors, including foreign extras. The cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi, adding to the film's visual appeal. With its genre-defying narrative and high-octane action sequences, Toxic is poised to be one of the biggest releases of 2026.
