UP CM Yogi Adityanath calles Disha Patani father after the shootout. It is known that the entire nation got a shock when unknown people fired shots at Disha Patani's house in Rai Bareily in Uttar Pradesh.

The Goldy Brar gang claimed the responsibility and added that they will not tolerate anyone insulting the Hindu saints. This comes in the aftermath of Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani's comments branding  Aniruddhacharya Maharaj as mysogynist.

Following this, UP CM Yogi Adityanath called Disha Patani's father Jignesh Patani and inquired about the incident. He told them “No matter where the criminals are—even if they are underground—the UP Police will find them. The government is with you,”

Earlier Khushboo Patani released a self defence video saying “Today, in this 'Kalyug', you never know what might happen. Nothing is certain—whether you're a public figure or not. It has nothing to do with that,”

Jignesh Patani spoke about CM Yogi's call saying “He expressed concern and assured us that the entire state stands with us. He specifically assured that there would be no negligence at any level regarding our family’s security.”
