Nayanthara's Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Dreams, is facing a legal notice from AP International, the company that holds the copyrights to the 2005 film Chandramukhi. The company claims that footage from their movie was used in the documentary without consent, and is seeking ₹5 crore in damages.

This is not the first time such allegations have been made against the documentary, with actor Dhanush previously accusing creators of using a clip from his film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan without permission. AP International has accused the makers of Nayanthara's documentary of ignoring previous legal notices regarding the unauthorized use of Chandramukhi footage.

The Madras High Court has ordered Netflix and Tarc Studios to remove the disputed footage from the documentary.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara is busy with multiple projects, including Yash's Toxic, Mohanlal and Mammootty's Patriot, Mookuthi Amman 2, Mega157, and Dear Students, among others. The lady superstar hasn't yet responded to the recent allegations or legal notice regarding her documentary. The outcome of the court proceedings will determine the future of the documentary and its availability on Netflix.
