Manchu Vishnu to team with this director for his next. Manchu Vishnu is on a high with his devotional entertainer Kannappa getting good response from all quarters.

In the meantime, speculation is on over his next projects. Now reports are coming that Manchu Vishnu will be teaming with Prabhu Deva for his next. Vishnu already went on record that he would do a complete commercial entertainer.

The film will go to sets this year and it will be bankrolled on 24 Frames Factory owned by Vishnu. More details about the cast and crew will be revealed at a later stage.

Manchu Vishnu's Kannappa which released last week told the story of Thinnadu turning into Kannappa, a great devotee of Lord Shiva. The film was directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starred Preity Mukundan as the female lead. The film had cameos from Mohan Lal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal.

Manchu Vishnu even spoke about prequel to Kannappa. He said  “A really good director…one of the leading directors today called me yesterday and asked me if I would be open to doing a prequel. I laughed because he said let’s explore more of Kannappa as an atheist if you’re interested. I was like, why not? We laughed about it because this film can have a prequel at best, but not a sequel.”
