Genelia was Bhaskar's final call

Rare reports are appearing in various kinds of media that Genelia was a mismatched pair besides Ramcharan in ‘Orange’ and obviously the reason being her elderly look compared to young and teenage looks of Ramcharan. It is biologically explained that girls tend to look elderly with a small increase of age while boys in very teenage are not so.

Going by the story of ‘Orange,’ it was left for director Bommarillu Bhaskar in finalizing the casting and he doesn’t want any risks to be taken on Ramcharan’s big movie. Without a doubt in his mind, Bhaskar opted for repetition of his lucky combination with Genelia and that was his final call. 

Even the same reports say that, Genelia and Cherry competed before camera in order to excel in each and every scene. Cherry too accepted that Gennie dominated him in some scenes but it was more like a learning experience for Mega Power Star who of course still looks ‘Letha’ besides ‘Mudara’ Genelia.
