SSR Puts Sekhar Kammula Above Him At Kuberaa Event

Akkineni Nagarjuna, the hero of the pan-India film Kubera, has praised director Sekhar Kammula, saying that the film is a true reflection of the director's vision. "Kubera is completely a Sekhar Kammula film. We are all just characters. This is a film that Sekhar has made by stepping out of his comfort zone," Nagarjuna said at a pre-release event in Hyderabad. The film, starring Dhanush in a special role and Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, is set to release on June 20.

S.S. Rajamouli, a guest at the event, expressed his excitement to see how Sekhar Kammula brought together the rich and poor worlds in the story. He said Sekhar made films bound by his principles but his films doens't reflects his ideologies keeping Sekhar Kammula Above him. Dhanush, who worked with Sekhar Kammula in this film, praised the director's hard work and dedication. "Sekhar Kammula worked very hard for Kubera. He didn't even consider his health. I feel proud to work with him," Dhanush said.
