The entire story revolves around a single point and he tries to excite viewers with confusing screenplay.To some extent he emerged successful but with the passage of time, one gets a feeling that the story is not moving any further. He tried to make up for it with hilarious scene in the police station during the preclimax. The entire first half is dragged with the love scenes featuring the lead pairs. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. The songs looked like serial songs and offered nothing new. and the background music turned out to be a huge disappointment. One cannot believe that Ilayaraja scored the music for the film. The cinematography of Arvind Kannabiran is good. He showed the scenes in a realistic manner adding aesthetic elements. He came up with a simple story of how a family tries to protect themselves when on attack from dreaded gangsters. Many such films came earlier but Subhash K Raj narrated it in a different manner trying to send message to the society.He showed father training his daughter to be brave and not to tolerate any injustice not only to the family but others in the society despite mother expressing her own fears. He also highlighted the importance of martial arts and how it will be helpful as a self defence system.He started the narration in &nbsp;a gripping manner and then the narration and screenplay turns racy throughout the first half. The first half ends in a decent manner setting the stage for the second half. The second half also treads in a similar manner but pace dips at times and due to few repetitive and dragged scenes. The climax too turns out to be weak.Arun Radhakrishnan's cinematography is good. He used the camera angles and color combinations to perfection do give a natural and realistic feel. Ravi Basrur's background music is impactful and added value to the narration. The editing of Pradeep E Ragav is decent enough except for few drags here and there and repetitive scenes. The entire first half is loaded with the fights between husband and wife and the happenings between the friends and court scenes. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. Climax twist is decent &nbsp;to some extent.Satish Muthyala's cinematography is good. Shrawan Bharadwaj's music is just ok and so is the background music. Editing of Koti left a lot to be desired. He slowly corelates both the incidents and developments and showed the media trail and social media impact on the protagonist's family. He concentrated on the happenings in Varun's life and tried to surprise viewers.Though Jeethu Joseph tried to highlight the emotional complications and implications and also worked hard to maintain the thrill factor, viewers who watched the first two parts, feel everything is stretched and they could easily guess the next scenes and proceedings. They feel that Jeethu Joseph stretched the narration and the so called thrill factor to a point of no return. The slow pace in the first half tests the patience of the viewers. It is only during the runup to the interval block some sense of urgency is shown and few scenes increase the thrill factor.People expect a more interesting and intriguing second half. However the familiarity of the behavior of the characters robbed viewers of the novel feeling. Everything turns predictable be it the investigation sequences, emotional scenes and the pattern in unraveling the suspense. To the top of it, when viewers expect a shocking climax, the simple climax turns out to be a major disappointment. The way protagonist comes with silly ideas turns out to be a huge disappointment. Karuppu OTT rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime and streaming will be after the completion of its theatrical run. He makes an impact as the village God and is good as a lawyer. He showed good variations in mannerisms, looks and body language. He showed different expressions accordingly. He enacted action sequences with utmost ease.Trisha got an important role. She is ok with her looks. At times she got prominence and suddenly she gets confined to the second fiddle before taking the centre stage.RJ. Balaji performed well as the crooked lawyer. His scenes with Suriya excites all. At times he got more screen presence. Balaji. He tried to entertain viewers by adding spiritual elements to a routine action entertainer with a message. For most of the first half, he spent time introducing various characters, establishing their problems and the proceedings in the court and elevate their emotions before introducing Suriya in an interesting and exciting manner. The slow pace tend to put off viewers as the scenes are predictable till the entry of Suriya.The narration picks up pace with the entry of Suriya and the spiritual elements generated curiosity. The conflict attracts all and though the interval block is routine, the first half ends on a decent note. When one expects a better second half, the narration turns cliched and screenplay goes for a toss. The comedy scenes looked outdated and dragged the narration to the next level.The pre climax is good but inspired by films like Kantara and Pushpa but lacked the strong emotions associated with them. RJ.Balaji followed the similar template in Veerabhadrudu which he did in Nayanthara's Mookuthi Amman except for few variations.The songs tuned by Sai Abhyankar had Tamil flavor. It is difficult to connect cords. His background score at times is good but at other times it turned out to be extremely loud. Kalaivanan's editing is ok but could have been far better. There are many scenes with tamil flavor and also repetitive scenes put off viewers. The cinematography of GK.Vishnnu is good. When he entered the industry his story telling turned out to be unique but he started using the same and followed the same using technological advances offering nothing new ending up testing the patience of the viewers.The narration lacks continuity and screenplay turned out to be bizzare and viewers are left wondering what he was upto. Though Dhruva Sarja worked hard, his character turned out to be loud. Reeshama Nanaiah is ok and Sanjay Dutt's character looked extremely awkward. As the narration progresses, the viewers interest wane and when the film ends, they heave a sigh of relief.The cinematography of William David added value to the narration turning it rich. However Arjun Janya's music failed with misplaced songs and also the background score turned out to be very jarry and loud. VFX turned out to be below average and the editing Sanketh Achar failed completely. What surprised all is they completely deleted the controversial song of Norah Fatehi. One gets a feeling that he is out only to murder movie lovers with his so called creative scenes.Uppu Maruthi failed completely as an editor. Though he couldn't be faulted as the story is senseless, he still left many ridiculous scenes. Anandmarukurthi's cinematography is below average. The music of Manizenna left a lot to be desired and so too is the background music. Dialogues are in bad taste and most of them are loaded with double meaning. The predictable flashback and the episodes in the second half makes viewers run for cover. There is no respite to the viewers as Raj Thalluri comes with scenes that defies logic and gives immese torture. The story is extremely weak and screenplay and direction is atrocious.
