Hyderabad, Dec 8: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti, Bharatiya Janata Party, and the Communist Party  of India  on Tuesday brought  pressure on the state government to adopt a resolution in the Legislative Assembly supporting the statehood of Telangana.E Rajender, the TRS floor leader interacting  with  the media  after adjournment of the house to Wednesday, said that high tension prevailed in the Telangana region due to intensifying Telangana movement.Mentioning the  death of 40 students who committed suicide in support of separate Telangana State, he strongly criticized the State Government for rejecting the plea to take up a discussion on the Telangana issue on Tuesday in the house.

This only shows that Congress is not concerned over Telangana issue. He questioned the Telangana Congress leaders as to why they were not opening their mouth on the Telangana issue.Referring to the statement of the Minister for Revenue, Dharmana Prasad Rao that majority of the parties have favored for discussion on floods than the Telangana issue in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, he alleged that the Minister has hurt the sentiment of the Telangana people with the irrelevant comments.The TRS leader demanded that  Dharmana Prasad Rao should tender apology to the Telangana people. He asked the Home Minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy to work for fulfilling the dream of her husband late Indra Reddy on Telangana Statehood. He warned they would stall the house business  until the introduction of the resolution by the government.
