Kadapa, July 11 (TNN): The two-member experts team comprising irrigation adviser Mr T S Prakash Rao and Telugu Ganga Project Engineer-in-Chief Mr B V S Prakasa Rao on Saturday submitted their report on Brahmini Industries Limited (bil) to the government. The government had asked the officials to visit the site following the BIL management resorted to gross violation of rules.

The officials also directed the BIL management to forthwith stop all their ongoing work on laying a road in the Mylavaram reservoir. They issued the directive after inspecting the work being executed by BIL for its steel plant nearby. They also ordered the BIL officials to shift machinery deployed near the reservoir. The experts said they would submit a report to the government for further action. The government permitted the company to draw two tmcft of water, but the BIL management, taking advantage of the close links between its Chairman and Karnataka Tourism Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy with Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, had misused the Government Order.
