Pawan Kalyan to contest from this constituency

It is known that Janasena's Pawan Kalyan is gearing up to contest against TDP in the upcoming elections. Pawan Kalyan has been in discussions with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu multiple times regarding the allocation of seats. He is also planning to visit Delhi to hold talks with BJP leaders, as there is a possibility of BJP joining this alliance. Once these discussions are concluded, there will be clarity on the seats contested by the three parties.

Meanwhile, there is speculation about where Pawan Kalyan will contest from in the upcoming elections. In the 2019 elections, Pawan contested from Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam district and Bhimavaram in West Godavari district, but unfortunately, he was defeated in both places. Despite this, there is talk that Pawan Kalyan will contest from two seats in the next election as well.

 The names of places such as Pithapuram, Tirupati, Avanigadda, and Kakinada Rural are being discussed. However, there is also speculation that Pawan may choose to once again contest from Bhimavaram, where he contested in the last election. It is believed that Pawan is aiming to win in the places where he previously lost, and as part of this strategy, he is reportedly considering staying in Bhimavaram and has instructed Janasena leaders to look for a suitable house for him.

Additionally, it has been finalized that Pawan Kalyan will tour Bhimavaram on February 20. Party leaders are assessing the party's status in the joint West Godavari district, as well as the strengths of the opposing party and potential candidates. It appears increasingly likely that Pawan Kalyan will contest from Bhimavaram, especially given the efforts to find a house for him there. The current Bhimavaram MLA from YCP, Granthi Srinivas, may also contest in the next election. In the 2019 elections, Pawan lost in Bhimavaram by a margin of more than 5 thousand votes, coming in second place behind the TDP candidate Ramanjaneyul, who placed third. With the alliance between TDP and Jana Sena, the next election is expected to see a close contest between Janasena and YCP in Bhimavaram.
