Rakul Preet Will Be Seen In This Role In Bharateeyudu 2

Indian 2, the second installment to the iconic 1996 Indian / Bharateeyudu film is gearing up to release in June after facing many hurdles and taking a very longtime. The Kamal Haasan and Shankar film backed by Lyca Productions which was started 5 years ago has seen everything, death of crew members on spot due to a mishap, slapped with a lawsuit and even got almost shelved at one point. But, Kamal Haasan, Lokesh Kangaraj's 'Vikram' turned the tables for Indian 2. 

The humongous success of Vikram brings back confidence on Kamal's ability to deliver a huge blockbuster. Udhayanidhi Stalin enter the project and clears all hurdles and finally the film is about to hit the screens globally in June, 2024, the next month. Not only that, makers went ahead and even shot major portion of Indian 3 too which is scheduled to release earlier next year. 

Indian-2 is a vigilante thriller film starring ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal in the titular role. Directed by ace filmmaker Shankar. With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, it also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, S. J. Suryah, Vivek (Late), and Rakul Preet Singh. While Khal will be seen in main lead opposite Kamal Haasan, there is secrecy shrouded over Rakul's character in the film.

Titled ‘Bharateeyudu-2’ in Telugu, Indian 2 carries great buzz among fans and trade. Having said that, an interesting piece of information has surfaced and gone viral on the internet. According to reports, Rakul will play the role of a powerful IPS officer that appears in the second half of the film, but that too for a limited duration. Let's see whether her role brings her lost fame in South industry.
