It is known that Mahavatar Narasimha, Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037) will be releasing in the same order.

Today on 25 July 2025, Mahavatar Narasimha is releasing and the film is helmed by Ashwin Kumar. The film is presented in Telugu by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts. Let us see what impact the film created on movie lovers in the theatres.

Mahavatar Narasimha(2025): Story Review

Mahavatar Narasimha story tells the story of Lord Vishnu's Narasimha Avatar. This is fourth in the Dashavatars of Lord Vishnu. In Satya Yuga, Maharshi Kashyap's wife Diti's insistence on intercourse results in the sensational developments resulting in the birth of two demons Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu. Where this leads to and how their birth impacts the entire universe and what forced Lord Vishnu to incarnate into Lord Varaha and Lord Narasimha, what role Hiranyakashipu's son Prahlada played from the rest of the narration.

Mahavatar Narasimha(2025): Artists Review

Aditya Raj Sharma, Haripriya Matta, Sanket Jaiswal, Priyanka Bhandari, Vasundhra Bose, Harjeet Walia, Sanchit Wartak, Saanwari Yagnik, Dinesh Varma, Uplaksh Kochhar, Akshay Joshi, Dinesh Varma, Harish Moily, Ajay Singhal, Sankalp Jaiswal, Karan Trivedi, Abhishek Sharma, Dixoan Shah, Shahid Zafar, Rakesh Soni, Ayushi Anand, Anshul Sharma gave voice over to the characters and they did a fine job. But they could have taken care to ensure that the lip sync matched the flow of the narration and their dialogues.

Mahavatar Narasimha(2025): Technicians Review

Director Ashwin Kumar started the narration with the birth of Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipa and then how Guru of demons (Rakshasas), Sukracharya make them strong and spew venom on Lord Vishnu. In this story, he showed both avatars of Lord Vishnu, Narasimha and Varaha. The killing of Hiranyaksha by Varaha Avatar of Vishnu is completed within minutes and the entire story is then concentrated on Hiranyakashipa and his son, Prahlada, devotee of Lord Vishnu.

The first half sails off smoothly but in a slow and sedate manner. The Varaha Avatar and the killing of Hiranyaksha is shown in an interesting manner. The second half narration picks up with Hiranyakashipa torturing Prahlada for his devotion to Vishnu. The pre climax and climax drives all crazy with intense action blocks in the backdrop of high quality VFX and Graphics.

Sam.CS gave a couple of situational songs and they are meaningful and devotional. He elevated the scenes taking viewers into the story and keeping them glued with breathtaking background music. Editing of Ajay Verma and Ashwin Kumar is good in the second half but could have been better in the first half. The cinematography is good. The VFX and CG work is of top class. The high quality visuals and graphics will leave all awestruck especially during the pre climax and climax.

Though many might know the story of Narasimha Avatar, Prahalada, Varaha Avatar, the interesting story telling for most of the part, makes viewers' interest levels intact. Dialogues are good and impactful. Production values are of high standard.

Mahavatar Narasimha(2025): Rating Analysis

Altogether, Mahavatar Narasimha entertains children and viewers who are interested in knowing more about Hindu epics. Ashwin Kumar made a sincere effort to narrate the story interestingly and aided with Hombale Films, the film's high quality graphics, visuals captivate all. He also ensured that the film carries the emotions quite well to connect chords with the viewers with impactful dialogues.
