Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Review, What’s Behind?

Nara Rohit, Sree Vishnu worked together for few good films and Sudheer Babu is the new joiner for this so-called multi-starrer directed by debutante Indrasena. The film also starred Shriya Saran who is out of action for long. Let’s see whether Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu will provide relief for the lead cast who are going through a lean phase.

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Story Review:

Story deals with three sub-plots that run concurrently. Investigation officer Deepak Reddy (Nara Rohit) along with Neelima (Shriya) is assigned to investigate a case of missing hijacked plane carrying celebrities including Indian cricketers wherein SI Vinay (Sudheer Babu) takes up a case of a missing home. Meanwhile, series of kidnaps happen in the city. How all these subplots are interlinked? What Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu (Sree Vishnu) has to do with these happenings?

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Artists, Technicians Review:

Director Indrasena tried to narrate the main theme of children abuse in a different light but not so interesting. Although the plot sounds somehow appealing as line, the screenplay and direction played spoilsport making us to wait patiently till end where all the twists are unfolded. Moreover, the complexity in narrative may not be easily understood for common sense audience. Thats the level  of intelligence.

S Venkat and Naveen Yadav’s camera work is decent but editing from Shashank Mali suffered. Mark K Robin’s background score is appalling. Thankfully, the film doesn’t contain any songs, except a title track that was shown while we come out of theater. Production values from Baba Creations are mediocre.

Onto performances, none of the artists looked great. Better not to talk about the terrible getup and poor dialogue delivery from Sree Vishnu. Nara Rohit as an investigative officer didn’t get much to perform wherein Shriya Saran as his associate is tolerable. Sudheer Babu was okay in the role of a police officer but voice of dubbing artist didn’t suit him. No other artist has an impact.

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Review, Rating Analysis:

New directors of late are coming up with unique and engaging concepts. Though some are narrating regular stories, succeeded to do magic with unusual screenplay. Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is also a regular story that was attempted in new manner. But, Indrasena with his poor writing and directorial skills could not engage us anywhere, except for the twist revealed towards end.

Movie begins on interesting note with a kid complaining about his missing house. In no time two other subplots of missing plane and series of kidnaps are thrown out monotonously. Mix up of these three plots will only test our patience. Srinivas Reddy and the comedy batch will not bring any relief. Investigative progression too will not excite us. Sree Vishnu makes entry at pre-interval unveiling his connection with plane hijack.

Second half too starts on dull note with investigation process continuing in same pace. However, narration appears interesting in only last 15 minutes where all these stories are interlinked and twists opened. The way twist is unfolded, it is so complicated that one section of audience may not understand what’s going on. Movie ends with a hint of the makers planning to come up with part 2. But, the big question is will it happen?

All in all, Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is a poorly made film with weak performances from lead actors and stumpy efforts from technical team. Director Indrasena failed in all the departments and there’s nothing unique for audience to watch it at least once. CJ goes with 1.25 rating and undoubtedly this film is going to disappear from theaters very soon.
