Vikranth, Chandini Chowdary's youthful entertainer Santhana Prapthirasthu is releasing on 14 November 2025. With Madhura Sridhar associated with the project, interest levels increased. Let us find out the how the film entertained viewers.
Santhana Prapthirasthu story revolves around young couple falling in love and how they deal with it when elders oppose them.
Software Engineer Chaitanya (Vikranth) falls for a beautiful girl Kalyani (Chandini Chowdhary). But their romantic journey hits stumbling blocks and they get shock after shock.
Where this leads to and how Kalyani's father, government teacher Eswar Rao( Muralidhar Goud), Chaitanya's friend Subbu (Abhinav Gomatam), Ambulance Services owner Jack Reddy (Tharun Bhascker), Dr.Padmavathi (Satya Krishnan) act, form rest of the narration.
Vikranth is ok in his role of a software engineer. He came up with innocent expressions and is good as a person who is in love with a beautiful girl. However, he came up with singular expression and he should hone his skills to reach the next level.
Chandini Chowdhary looked good on the screen and she got the role of a typical heroine. There are many other known star cast but none of them failed to make an impression. Muralidhar Goud played the role of father and is is ok while Harshavardhan is ok in his role of brother in law.
Abhinav Gomatam passed through the motions as the friend of the protagonist while Tharun Bhascker played an inconsequential role to take the story forward. Others like Sri Lakshmi, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Satya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, Abhay Bethiganti, Kireeti, Anil Geela, Saddam failed to make any impact.
Santhana Prapthirasthu story is penned by Sanjeev Reddy, Sheik Dawood G. Sanjeev Reddy came up with a story to generate fun with adult youthful entertainer. Right from the start till the finish he loaded the film with direct and indirect double meaning dialogues. None of the scenes failed to inspire confidence and everyone seems to be passing through the motions.
While the first half turned mediocre, the second half turned out to be atrocious. There are many known cast but Sanjeev Reddy failed to utlise even one of them. He turned all of them into mere caricatures. Dialogues turned out to be disastrous. With weak story, the technical departement failed completely as they are at their wits end as to how to do justice to their profession.
Everyone failed collectively with music and BGM of Sunil Kashyap left with out a trace. Mahi Reddy Pandugula's cinematography is pretty ordinary while editing of Sai Krishna Ganala failed completely. Production values are below average.
Altogether, Santhana Prapthirasthu turns out to be an atrocious story. Director Sanjeev Reddy tried to attract genex viewers with adult jokes and dialogues and in the process he failed to comeup with even a decent story. He failed with his screenplay and direction and everything turned substandard and mediocre. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for Santhana Prapthirasthu.
