He comes to know about cannabis smuggling but his hands are tied as the Railway Police Officer as the local police and other officials are hand in hand with the drug peddler Sivudu (Naveen Chandra). Whether Lakshman Bheri is able to stop Sivudu's activities and what role police officer Ajit Narayana (Samuthirakhani), Phanindra (Murali Sharma), grandfather (Rajendra Prasad), beautiful girl Tulasi (Sreeleela), her father (Naresh),Subbu (Praveen) and others play form the interesting part of the story.

Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara Movie: Artists Review

Ravi Teja as usual comes up with his energetic performance. He surprises with his energy even at his age. Be it mass dialogues, comic timing, romance or stunt sequences and mass dance moves, he elevated the scenes with his electrifying energy levels. He delivered dialogues in Telangana accent quite commendably. But  with the passage of time, one gets a feeling that he too lost interest and just passed through the motions.

Sreeleela got a typical female role in a commercial entertainer. However her role comes with a twist and she did well with in her limitations. She oozed with glamor in the songs and came up with cute expressions. She delivered dialogues accordingly and impresses with her mannerisms.

Naveen Chandra surprises with his performance in the role of the antagonist. He is shown as a brutal antagonist but his makeup didnot suit at times. He came up with a fine performance making his presence felt on the screen. Rajendra Prasad is fine in the role tailormade for him.

VK Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Praveen, Sudarshan, Navya Swamy, Murali Sharma, Samuthirakhani, Hyper Aadi, Ajay Ghosh are ok with their roles.

Mass Jathara Telugu Movie: Technicians Review

Mass Jathara story is penned by Bhanu Bhogavarapu. He made his debut with this film as a director. On debut he selected an out and out mass entertainer and tried to delight the fans of Mass Raja Ravi Teja. He starts the narration in an interesting manner and instead of showing the regular cop story, he showed the limitations of the Railway Police Officer and how he overcomes the loopholes in the system to take on the anti social elements.

Though this excites on the paper, he paid less attention to the intricacies and concentrated more on elevating the mass heroism of Ravi Teja. He showed Ravi Teja in an energetic and massy manner and concentrated only on it and in the midst of all this story went for a toss. Right from the start till the finish, he followed the same routine template of the mass entertainer and in the meantime, characters sometime speak in Telangana accent, Rayalaseema accent and Srikakulam accent conveniently much to the surprise of all.

To some extent first half turns decent but the second half ends up giving immense torture to the viewers with gory scenes and glorification of violence in the name of hero and villian elevations. Logics goes for a toss and the director assumes convenient screenplay without giving credence to other elements. The emotions look artificial and comedy fails to click as the director loaded the scenes copy pasting Ravi Teja's hit films scenes just changing the actors. The pre climax is ok but climax goes overboard with nothing much to rave about.

Bheems Ceciroleo came up with foot tapping mass beats. However the songs placement ended up impacting the flow of the narration and tested the patience of the viewers. The background score turned out to be loud.Action choreography is fine. Editing of Navin Nooli could have been far better. There are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration with dragging elements.

Cinematography of Vidhu Ayyanna is good. He showed the rural backdrop in a admirable manner. Dialogues are in sync with the commercial entertainers. Production values are good.

Mass Jathara Movie: Advantages

  • Ravi Teja Energy
  • Sreeleela glamor
  • Stunt Choreography

Mass Jathara Movie: Disadvantages

  • Outdated Story
  • Forced Humour
  • Weak Villian
  • Climax

Mass Jathara (2025) Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Mass Jathara turns out to be another run of the mill Commercial Entertainer. Ravi Teja comes up with electrifying and energetic performance and Sreeleela added the required glamor touch. Director Bhanu Bhogavarapu just concentrated on showing Ravi Teja in a energetic manner to give feast to fans and didnot take care of the story, screenplay and direction. He didnot take care to develop the character arcs of various actors and failed completely in his execution. Had he reworked on the script and done away with the predictability , things would have been little different. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 for Mass Jathara.
