Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Artists Review

Jonathan Majors’ Kang  entry into the Ant-Man franchise turned out to be a disappointment. Kathryn Newton performed well but her character arc constrained her performance. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet got the best role and she performed accordingly. Michael Douglas’ Hank is ok but failed to elevate the film. Bill Murray’s cameo is the only saving grace in the entire film.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Technicians Review

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania  story written by Peyton Reed turned out to be the weakest of all the Ant-Man franchises that released till now. His screenplay and direction turned out to be pathetic and right from the start till the finish, the narration nosedived resulting in the complete disappointment of the movie lovers. The entire film turned out to be a laughing stock. People are surprised that Reed who entertained movie lovers with the first two parts of the franchise including humour, romance and even -action, failed completely on all fronts on this occasion.

Cinematography failed to make an impression. The usage of heavy VFX infact turned out to be the huge disadvantage. For most of the post, the VFX are blurred making viewers wonder what's wrong with their eyes. Editing left a lot to be desired and the entire film turned out to be a tedious watch. Background music is just ok. Production values are ok.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Disadvantages

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Rating Analysis

Altogether, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania directed by Peyton Reed turned out to be a huge disappointment. While the story turned out to be the weakest, the script failed completely. Director Reed lost the plot completely and it seems after the success of the first two installments, he got carried away and influenced by the success of Avengers, Spiderman etc and tried to replicate the same elements of the parallel world in his Ant Man. In the process he lost his creatively and innovative ideas and this inturn turned Ant Man into a bad replica of his predecessors. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 Rating for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
