Narayanapeta (Mahaboobnagar) July 17 (TNN): A mild earth quake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded at Narayanapeta in Mahabubnagar district on Friday.
Panic gripped Narayanapeta and people moved out into the open after most parts of the city felt tremors on Friday evening.
However, no damage to property was reported.
When the TNN contacted the National Geophysical Research Institute scientists, they said that we will require some more data from observatories to confirm the earthquake and then only we will be able to give more details on it.
