Thieves struck it rich in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Thursday morning decamping gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakhs. Cine produce r Edida Nageswara Rao’s house was the target for the thieves. According to the police sources, the miscreants entered Edida Nageswara Rao’s son Raja’s room and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakhs and a cash of Rs 7,000/-.The robbery took place while Raja was sleeping in his room.
The miscreants entered the room by opening the door of the room through a window and finished their business promptly before Raja could know what has happened in his room. By the time the people in the house became alert of the presence of outsiders in the house they miscreants disappeared quickly from the scene.A complaint was lodged with police and the polices promptly took into custody two suspects.
