Pakistan targets Indian military installation, India neutralises Pak. India's Operation Sindoor avenging the shocking act of terrorists targeting the tourists, singling Hindus and shooting them in cold blood, sent shivers down the spines of the Pakistan army and military establishment.
Today, Pakistan tried to attack India's military installations targeting 15 areas in Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, using drones and missiles. However, India foiled the attempt and neutralised Pakistan by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and the Russia-made S-400 'Sudarshan Chakra' air defence systems.
The S-400 air defence system can track aerial threats up to 600 km away and intercept fighter jets, ballistic missiles, and drones, making it a vital cog in India's security arsenal.
Pakistan got a huge shock when one drone crashed near Lahore, while 12 others were taken down close to Gujranwala, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Miano, Karachi, Chhor, Rawalpindi, and Attock.
Indian army targeted air defence radars at a number of locations in Pakistan and destroyed the system in Lahore on Thursday. Government of India later issued a presser stating "Indian armed forces targeted air defence radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. The Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan. It has been reliably learnt that an air defence system at Lahore has been neutralised," the government said.
"The Indian armed forces reiterate their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by the Pakistani military," the statement further said.
