We are speaking about Lalit Modi, the creator and Hero turned Villain behind IPL (Indian Premier League) is on the run to save against the alert from Interpol. Yes, with proposal and backing from Shashi Tharoor; Intelligence Bureau reported the Ministry of External Affairs that Lalit Modi is trying to get a passport from Iceland to escape the clutches of the Enforcement Directorate.
Earlier to this Modi tried hard to be Iceland’s envoy in Mumbai but Intelligence Bureau spoiled his plans. Few high level reports publish that Modi even got Iceland to send a formal proposal to India to appoint him honorary consulate general of the country in Mumbai with all the backing from the highest office of first lady of Iceland, who I allegedly a close friend to Modi’s wife.
On the other side, Indian Government is making all the arrangements not to make Modi escape Iceland.
