The short time gap of King Nagarjuna allotted his dates for a film shoot in Manali gave space for Bigg Boss organizers to find an alternative option in Samantha to host the show for Dasara weekend. Though Bigg Boss team kept this as a secret till last moment, Samantha’s entry wasn’t a big surprise for most of the audience.
Anyways, the 3 hour episode is cleverly planned by direction team as they know a fact that Sam alone cannot engage audience for so long. Accordingly, there were Akkineni Akhil, Payal Rajput, Karthikeya and Hyper Adi to fill the gap in regular spaces by supporting Sam. Yet, there is no way all these celebs together cannot match Nag Sir’s charisma. Viewers also clearly felt King’s absence.
The command Nagarjuna showed in past episodes was missing in this crucial episode. Samantha wasn’t flamboyant. She was either laughing loud or trying to cut a joke where there wasn’t a space to do so. Never the less, Sam is a stunning performer on big screen but when it comes to hosting a show and that too like most popular Bigg Boss, it requires next level of grace and attraction in both appearance and behavior. Though not at all disappointing from Sam’s end, final truth is Sam and Akhil cannot fill Nag Sir’s space.
