Power Star Pawan Kalyan has signed various projects and on Vijaya Dashami another film was announced. It’s official remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum to be directed by Sagar K Chandra of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame. Sithara Entertainments will bankroll the project.
Although it is known that Pawan Kalyan has given green signal to do a film under Naga Vamsi’s production house, the sudden announcement surprised all. Many expected the announcement would come sometime in 2021, as Pawan Kalyan has three to four films to complete.
Apparently, Pawan Kalyan film’s announcement is a revenge on hero Nani. It is known that, Nani was supposed to do Shyam Singha Rai under Sithara Entertainments banner. But, when producers asked to cut down the budget, the film went to the hand of new producer Venkat Boyanapalli.
Shyam Singha Rai concept poster was released yesterday. It seems Sithara Entertainments intentionally announced Pawan Kalyan’s project as to grab the media attention from Nani’s film. In fact, they succeeded doing so.
Nani, on the other hand, is going through lean phase with flops. It has to be seen whether he will come back strongly with Tuck Jagadish and Shyam Singha Rai.
