AR Murugadoss is one of the highly acclaimed directors who delivered several sensational films with star heroes. But the director lost his Midas touch and is coming up with mediocre films. His last few films failed to set the box office on fire. Particularly Spyder with superstar Mahesh Babu ended as one of the biggest debacles for the actor.
Murugadoss planned a film with stylish star Allu Arjun and the actor too expressed his wish to work with the director. But Bunny who gives prime priority to scripts reportedly rejected ARM’s script. Then, the director approached Tamil star Vijay with a different story and the film tentatively titled Thalapathy65 was announced long ago.
However, as per latest reports, Vijay and Sun Pictures are said to be unhappy with AR Murugadoss’s story. The director has allegedly opted out of the film. Even though Murugadoss provided a blockbuster Kaththi and a moderate hit Sarkar, Vijay could say no to him. Fans call this a clever move.
Vijay is currently waiting for the release of Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is likely to release in summer, 2021.
