Why Pawan Kayan’s Special Interest On Remakes?

Pawan Kalyan Doing Only Remakes

Power Star Pawan Kalyan in his long career starred in many remake films. Most of them turned out to be hits to blockbusters. Starting from Gokulamlo Seetha, he did several remakes such as Suswagatham, Kushi, Annavaram, Teenmaar, Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu and now Vakeel Saab.

Pawan Kalyan reportedly signed to do Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Vijay Sethupathi is considered to play other lead role. Venky Atluri will be directing the film under Sithara Entertainments banner. The film is expected to be announced officially on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday (Sep 2nd).

Apart from these, Pawan Kalyan is said to be doing remake of Tamil hit Vikram Vedha. He will also be doing straight films with Krish and Harish Shankar. Many wonder why Pawan Kalyan is keen on doing remakes, rather than doing original films.

Pawan Kalyan has decided to bid adieu to films before next elections. He wants to do as many films as possible, to earn some money to spend them for election campaigning and also to strengthen his Janasena Party.

Remakes will not take much time, as few changes in the scripts are more than enough. When it comes to straight films, it will take long time to pen stories and production works will also take enough time. Thus, Pawan Kalyan is opting for remakes.
