Nara Rohit who made his debut with different genre entertainer Banam won the appreciation of critics. He impressed all doing different genre films later, but failed to score a commercial hit. He even changed his tune and did few commercial entertainers but did not get the desired result.
Rohit took gap for some time and is now getting ready to team up with Banam director Chaitanya Dantuluri once again. Chaitanya Dantuluri who couldn’t score a hit with Banam later came up with Basanti. However this film turned out to be a disaster at the box office. So once again he got an unexpected gap.
In the midst of this, he decided to team up with Nara Rohit. Sources reveal that the duo is planning to come up with a periodic entertainer. The film will be based on the 1971 war and it is a romantic entertainer in the war backdrop. Nara Rohit’s entertainers till now failed commercially and under these circumstances periodic entertainer increases the production cost.
The question is can the duo recover the cost and reach the breakeven. But sources say Chaitanya is confident on the story and the film will be a turning point in the careers of Rohit and Cahitanya. Plans are on to start the film next year and release it by the end of 2021.
