Despite lockdown being imposed in India, senior director Ram Gopal Varma hasn't taken aback and is busy doing numerous projects. His latest ventures Naked and Climax released on OTT platforms and became profitable ventures to the director.
RGV, however, being a staunch loyalist of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, announced a satirical film 'Power Star' against Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan to cater the needs of YSRCP's activists.
Had the film been a political satire, it could have been a wise attempt by the director. But then, he unnecessarily touched personal issues of Pawan Kalyan which is highly offensive.
Whatsoever, it's heard that the protagonist of 'Power Star', who resembled Pawan Kalyan, has opted out of the project with reasons unknown. RGV has decided to get the project shelved. A wise decision, indeed!
