As everyone anticipated, the union Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry decided to defer the nationwide entrance examinations JEE & NEET to the month of September.
JEE Mains will be conducted between 1st and 6th of September while JEE Advanced will be conducted on 27th of the same month. On the other side, NEET examination will be held on September 13.
"Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone #JEE & #NEET examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept," the HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted.
As we know, JEE Mains are conducted for admission into prestigious NITs, IIITs and GFTIs and JEE Advanced are conducted for admission into IITs. NEET, on the other hand, paves the way for admission on medical colleges across India.
