The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is conducted for admission into various engineering colleges of India, have been scheduled between 18th and 22nd of July. On the other hand, On the other hand, The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEE) is scheduled for the 25th of this month.
However, in light of the rapid spread of the pandemic, some parents and students are heard to have pleaded with the union HRD Ministry to get the JEE and the NEET deferred.
The union HRD minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, on Thursday, gave a hint in his latest tweet clearly that the postponement of the said examinations is inevitable and the details would be out on Friday.
"Looking at the prevailing circumstances & requests received from students & parents appearing for #JEE & #NEET examinations, a committee consisting of @DG_NTA & other experts has been advised to review the situation & submit its recommendations to @HRDMinistry latest by tomorrow," the HRD minister tweeted.
If at all the government postpones the examinations, it'd would a huge jolt to the true aspirant who are working very hard for a high rank in the all India level entrance examinations.
