Actress Meera Chopra was trolled by Jr NTR fans for her comment during #AskMeera interactive session that she did not know the actor and that she was not his fan. She also said that she was a fan of actor Mahesh Babu.
Upset over the vulgar comments and threats, Meera Chopra, lodged a complaint online and the police registered the case. She tweeted to NTR saying she didn't know it was crime to be a fan of Mahesh Babu. She also tagged Mahesh Babu.
Meera Chopra also tweeted to TRS Working President and IT Minister KTR, Kavitha and the Hyderabad police with screenshots of all the abusive and intimidating tweets and sought their help.
“@KTRTRS @RaoKavitha ive been abused of gangrape, acidattack, abused, cyberbullied and slutshamed by your state. @hydcitypolice has filed an fir and i hope for the safety of women this will investigated thoroughly”, tweeted she.
Giving assurance to Meera Chopa to take severe action, KTR posted, “Ma’m, I have requested @TelanganaDGP and @CPHydCity to take stern action as per law based on your complaint.”
It has to be seen what kind of action will Hyderabad police will take on those who abused Meera Chopra!
