Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana is known for his exceptional and versatile performances. Meanwhile, he came up with a shocker on recent films.
He said, "Except for old films, I do not watch new films. In my opinion, current generation films are not to be considered as films at all. In olden films, there used to be a story and morale. Today's films have only hacking and chopping. For how long we will watch such films. LV Prasad used to say "They are saying it is good but, there is nothing to learn from it". Most of the current films are like that. In one word, I did not like this trend. That is why I reduced doing films though I am getting character roles."
He continued, "Currently, I am passing time watching classical films. I watched Krishnavataram, Mayabazar, Daana Veera Soora Karna, Vinayaka Vijayam, Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Devdas, Premnagar, Sriranganeetulu, Mama Allulla Saval, Rowdyism Nasinchali." On an average I am watching two films a day. Among them, only NTR's films are more. I was watching all of them in CD player. If those films come on TV, I will watch them for sure."
