As we reported earlier, Power Star Pawan Kalyan committed to do a film for producer Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainments. Earlier, there were reports that, it will be a remake of Tamil hit Vikram Vedha and Pawan Kalyan would share screen space with mass maharaja Ravi Teja in the multi-starrer.
Now, as per fresh reports, it will be a different project and Dolly will direct it. The director previously made two films with Pawan Kalyan. While the first film Gopala Gopala was an average grosser, the second film Katamarayudu was a flop. After Katamarayudu, Dolly didn’t direct a single film till date.
Now, Pawan Kalyan taking undue risk by giving nod to work for the third time with Dolly. It is another bad decision from Pawan Kalyan who is making poor choices of late in selecting scripts and directors for films.
At present, Pawan Kalyan is doing two films- Vakeel Saab with Sriram Venu and Viroopaksha with Krish. While Vakeel Saab is third film for Venu who didn’t direct a star previously, Krish’s last few films were commercial flops. Still, there are good hopes on these projects given Vakeel Saab is a remake of super hit and Viroopaksha is a historical entertainer made on massive budget.
We need to wait and see whether Dolly comes up with a new script or opt to remake of other language film.
