Varun Tej who is on a high scoring hits like F2 (Fun & Frustration) and Gaddalakonda Ganesh last year, is currently gearing up to show his power as a boxer in his upcoming entertainer under the direction of debutante Kiran Korrapati.
Varun Tej is leaving no stone unturned and is working hard training under professional boxers. He earlier trained under Olympic Gold medalist Tony Jeffries and is now training under Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat.
In the meantime it is coming out that the makers are planning to cast Naveen Chandra of Andala Rakshasi fame as the villain. They are of the opinion that as it is boxing based film and while Varun Tej is training in boxing, a boxer in real life would generate interest. They felt that Naveen Chandra who is a boxer would fit the bill. Earlier rumours spread that Vijay Sethupathi would play the role of an antagonist.
Varun Tej is romancing Bollywood star Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Sai Manjrekar who will be making her debut in Tollywood. She featured in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3.
