Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena, dreamed of creating a sensation like Sr NTR who came to power within 9 months after launching TDP in Andhra Pradesh and thus uprooting the Congress party in the state.
None of the stars who entered politics drawing inspiration from NTR became successful. Mega Star Chiranjeevi failed with his Praja Rajyam party and now his brother Pawan Kalyan.
Though in between few Telugu stars entered politics, they joined other established parties rather than test their luck starting their own party. Pawan Kalyan, during his interaction with his cadre, came up with sensational comments on Sr NTR's victory and his defeat.
He said, “It is not possible for everyone to come to power within days of launching the party. During those situations, it was possible only for Sr NTR. Losses are common in politics and I won't be disheartened by the defeat. I launched the party only with an eye on future".
