This Sankranthi season is packed with four commercial and family entertaining films such as Darbar, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Entha Manchivaadavuraa.
Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar hit the screens on January 9 and received mixed responses from audience. Although the film's first half stands out with good commercial entertaining elements, there is a lag in the second half which is showing impact at the box office.
For time being it's assumed that Darbar is no way a competition for other Sankranthi films.
Darbar was directed by AR Murugadoss under Lyca Productions. South top heroine Nayantara played female lead. Anirudh Ravichandar composed music.
